The Team
IDRIJA UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK
The team of the Idrija Tourism Board consists of the director and employees in different fields of expertise and projects, as well as the employees in the Idrija Tourist Information Center (TIC Idrija). The Idrija Tourism Board manages the coordination and development of the Idrija Geopark, one of the pillars of tourism in the Idrija region. The main purpose of the Geopark is to protect and preserve the region’s geological heritage, to promote natural and cultural monuments, as well as educate and collaborate with local communities.
